Yediler Monastery Yediler Monastery, located in the foothills of the Beşparmak mountain range in the town of Gölyaka and Muğla province, is a significant place for Christians due to its frescoes depicting Jesus's life, death, and resurrection. This monastery dates back to the 7th century and can be challenging to locate. Upon entering the courtyard, visitors can explore two churches, a chapel, a cistern, and monk cells. Yediler Monastery's frescoes are a visual depiction of important scenes from the history of Christianity, from the crucifixion of Jesus to his burial, and finally to the revelation of heresies. The most remarkable piece of artwork in the monastery is a 1230-year-old fresco of Jesus Christ and his 12 apostles, which is sure to impress visitors.
