Tour Itinerary
Hotel Pick-Up & Göreme Panorama Point
The Classical Green Tour will start around 09:30 from your hotel in Goreme (or slightly earlier from other towns). We drive just 5 minutes to our first stop: Goreme Panorama Point. Here, you'll see Goreme Town and the surrounding valleys from an elevated viewpoint while our guide shares an overview of the region's fascinating history and geography.
Derinkuyu Underground City
After a scenic 40-minute drive, we arrive at the spectacular Derinkuyu Underground City, the deepest one in the Cappadocia region. Going down to 60 meters below ground, you will explore the complex network of tunnels, stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, and churches that protected ancient communities for months at a time.
Hike in Ihlara Valley
Next, we head to one of Turkey's most awe-inspiring natural sites: the Ihlara Gorge. A major highlight of the tour, we will embark on a gentle 3 km hike lasting about 1 hour along the beautiful Melendiz River. The valley walls are dotted with ancient Byzantine rock-cut churches, which we will observe along the trail.
Lunch in Belisirma
We finish our hike near the charming Belisirma Village, nestled within the valley. Here, we'll take a well-deserved break at a local restaurant, enjoying a delicious traditional lunch to recharge after our walk through the gorge.
Selime Monastery
Post-lunch, a brief 15-minute drive brings us to the towering Selime Monastery, the biggest religious structure carved out of rock in Cappadocia. You will have the chance to climb up and explore its massive kitchen, cathedral, and church sections, offering striking views of the landscape below.
Pigeon Valley Panorama & Traditional Stone Art
Our final leg involves a 1.5-hour drive back to the Uchisar area, where we stop to admire the incredible vistas of Pigeon Valley. While there, we will also enjoy a demonstration of traditional stone art before bringing you comfortably back to your hotel around 17:30.

- Free Cancellation: No cancellation fee if canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled service.
- Late Cancellation (24-48 hours): If canceled within 48 to 24 hours before the tour, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
- Last-minute (Under 24 hours): Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour will be charged the full amount.
- No-shows: Guests who do not arrive for the service without prior notice are considered no-shows and payments are completely non-refundable.
