Full-Day Bosphorus Cruise Itinerary
Hotel Pick-Up
Your Full-Day Bosphorus and Black Sea Cruise begins with pick-up from selected central Istanbul hotels at approximately 08:30 AM. The exact time depends on your hotel location and will be confirmed with your travel voucher.
You will be transferred to the departure area near Kabataş Harbour, where you will meet the cruise team and board the boat.
Ortaköy Waterfront Stop
Cruise to Ortaköy, one of Istanbul’s most attractive waterfront districts. The neighborhood is especially famous for its elegant mosque standing beside the Bosphorus and its impressive views of the bridge connecting Europe and Asia.
You will have approximately 30 minutes to walk around, take photographs and enjoy the lively atmosphere before returning to the boat.
Cruise to Küçüksu Pavilion
Continue sailing along the Bosphorus toward the Asian shore. Along the way, enjoy views of historical waterfront mansions, Ottoman palaces, modern residences, mosques and the green hills surrounding the strait.
Visit Küçüksu Pavilion, an ornate Ottoman imperial retreat once used by the sultans during excursions and hunting trips.
Küçüksu Pavilion is normally closed on Mondays and Thursdays. On these days, the program may include the Maiden’s Tower instead.
Rumeli Fortress
The next stop is Rumeli Fortress, located at one of the narrowest sections of the Bosphorus. Sultan Mehmed II ordered its construction in 1452 to control maritime traffic and prevent assistance from reaching Constantinople through the Black Sea.
Explore the historic fortress area and enjoy elevated views over the Bosphorus before continuing the journey north. Please be prepared for steps and uneven surfaces during this visit.
Lunch on Board
After visiting Rumeli Fortress, return to the boat and continue cruising toward the northern Bosphorus. Lunch will be served on board while you enjoy the passing scenery.
Lunch is included in the tour price. Drinks ordered during lunch are not included and may be purchased separately.
Poyrazköy and the Black Sea
Arrive at Poyrazköy, a peaceful village near the point where the Bosphorus meets the Black Sea. This northern section of the journey offers a noticeably different atmosphere from central Istanbul, with forested hills, open water and traditional fishing boats.
Depending on weather, sea conditions and the day’s operating schedule, guests may have free time near the beach and an opportunity to swim. Please bring swimwear and a towel when traveling during suitable summer weather.
Return Cruise Along the Bosphorus
Reboard the boat for the return journey toward central Istanbul. Relax on deck and enjoy another opportunity to photograph the Bosphorus coastline, waterfront neighborhoods, bridges, fortresses and city skyline.
Arrival and Hotel Drop-Off
The cruise is scheduled to finish at approximately 17:30 at Kabataş. After disembarkation, you will be transferred back to your hotel, subject to the designated hotel transfer area and Istanbul traffic conditions.
