Itinerary Details

The Ottoman sultans and their court resided in Topkapi Palace until the middle of the 19th century. Sultan Mehmed II, the conqueror of Constantinople, built Topkapi Palace between 1460 and 1478 as a home for himself and his family. The palace was not only a residence for Ottoman rulers; it was also an administrative center with offices to handle both civil and military matters. In fact, the complex was more like a small city, with administrative offices and several courtyards.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Sultanahmet around 13:00 and start the tour. You will begin your trip with the Topkapi Palace, which is the Ottoman Sultan's Residence constructed on the slopes of Sarayburnu. The Topkapi Palace is made up of a variety of architectural styles. It is Turkey's most visited museum, and you'll be able to view parts of the Ottoman Empire treasury, Dynasty clothing, and sacred relics. Harem Section will not be included in the itinerary, and there will be an extra 750 TL per person for this section.

Our final stop will be in Hagia Irini Museum, located in the Topkapı Palace garden. This historic structure is one of the oldest churches in Istanbul and was built in the 4th century by Roman Emperor Constantine. Unlike other Byzantine churches in the city, Hagia Irini was never converted into a mosque and has preserved its original architectural features. The museum is known for its impressive acoustics, making it a venue for classical music concerts today. Visitors can admire its massive dome, ancient frescoes, and a unique blend of Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman influences.

The rate for this tour will be 90 Euro per person. Please send us an email to get more information or text/call us through our Whatsapp Number, and we will respond as soon as possible.
