Your Private Termessos and Düden Waterfall Tour begins at approximately 8:30 AM with pick-up from your hotel in Antalya. Meet your licensed private guide and travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle toward the foothills of the Taurus Mountains.

Evdir Han Caravanserai
Begin with a short visit to Evdir Han, an important Seljuk caravanserai located along the historical route leading north from Antalya.
Caravanserais provided accommodation, security, storage and services for merchants, animals and travelers moving across Anatolia. Your guide will explain their role in regional trade and point out the building’s monumental pointed-arched portal and Seljuk stonework.
Drive into Güllük Mountain National Park
Continue toward Termessos Ancient City, hidden among the mountains and forests northwest of Antalya. After reaching the archaeological site parking area, begin the walk uphill with your private guide.
The path follows uneven stone and natural terrain. The climb requires reasonable fitness, but the forest atmosphere, archaeological remains and mountain views make it one of Antalya’s most rewarding historical experiences.
Explore the Ancient Mountain City
Termessos was founded by the Solymians, an ancient people associated with the mountainous region of Pisidia. Its naturally protected location became famous when the city successfully resisted Alexander the Great during his campaign through Anatolia in 333 BC.
Walk through the remains of the gymnasium, agora, bouleuterion, odeon, temples, cisterns, city walls and necropolis. Your guide will explain how the city collected water, defended its mountain approaches and developed during the Hellenistic and Roman periods.
The most memorable structure is the ancient theatre, positioned against an extraordinary mountain backdrop. The surrounding landscape forms part of Güllük Dağı–Termessos National Park, which has been included on Türkiye’s UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List since 2000.
Traditional Local Lunch
After descending from Termessos, continue to a carefully selected local restaurant for lunch. Enjoy regional Turkish dishes in a relaxed setting while resting after the mountain walk.

Düden Waterfall

Return to Your Hotel
The sightseeing program concludes at approximately 4:00 PM. Relax during the private drive back to your hotel in Antalya. Arrival time may vary according to traffic, your hotel location and the pace of the day.
