Hotel Pick-Up & Göreme Open Air Museum
Highlights of Cappadocia Tour with lunch will start at 09:30 from your hotel in Goreme or little earlier from other towns and drive to the most important place in Cappadocia: Goreme Open Air Museum. The museum is a massive monastery complex where you can visit 9 churches over 1000 years old. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, and our professional guide will provide deep insights into the region’s monastic history.
Cavusin Old Village & Pasabag Fairy Chimneys
After exploring the museum, we visit Cavusin Village, which housed both Turkish and Greek residents until the compulsory population exchange of 1924. You will learn about the cultural similarities and historical reasons behind this relocation. Next, we head to Pasabag Fairy Chimneys (Monks Valley) to see the best-protected multiple-headed fairy chimneys in the region and learn about their unique geological formation.
Boutique Lunch & Avanos Pottery Demonstration
We drive to Avanos for a relaxing break. We carefully select small boutique restaurants to ensure a high-quality meal, strictly avoiding the crowded open-buffets used by large groups. Following lunch, witness a kick-wheel pottery demonstration, a traditional art form nearly 4000 years old inherited from the Hittites, using red clay from the Kızılırmak River.
Kaymakli Underground City
A 30-minute journey brings us to Kaymakli Underground City, the most magnificent subterranean settlement in Cappadocia. This architectural wonder features storages, churches, and wineries carved deep into the earth. Our guide will explain how early communities used ingenious ventilation systems and heavy stone doors to live safely below the surface for months at a time.
Pigeon Valley & Uchisar Castle Panorama
The final stop is Pigeon Valley, offering a stunning panoramic view of Uchisar Castle. This spot provides the best photographic opportunities to see the ancient pigeon houses carved into the soft volcanic tuff. After this final visit, we will transfer you back to your hotel around 5:00pm, completing an unforgettable day of discovery.

- Once confirmed, all rates and program details are guaranteed.
- A travel voucher will be sent after confirmation.
- The remaining balance can be paid before or after the trip.
Cancellation Highlights
- Hotel reservations: No cancellation fee if canceled at least 14 days before the check-in date.
- Domestic flights: Airline tickets are subject to airline rules. If canceled at least 30 days before departure, a small airline cancellation fee of approximately 15 Euro may apply.
- Tours and transfers: No cancellation fee if canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled service.
- Last-minute cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour or transfer may be subject to partial charges depending on reservations already confirmed.
- No-shows: Guests who do not arrive for the service without prior notice are considered no-shows and payments are non-refundable.
