Inalti Cave The Inalti Cave is situated at an elevation of 1070 meters above sea level, within the Inaltı Village and 40 kilometers away from Ayancık District. Accessible by vehicle or by walking up the narrow stairs leading to an opening with wide shelves, this cave is adorned with dripstones lining most of its walls, attracting numerous tourists. Almost half of the cave's length, which averages at 658 meters, is open for visitors. A 300-meter segment of the Inalti Cave has been illuminated for tourism, while it has been determined that only 125 meters of the remaining 358 meters can be used by tourists. The cave stretches in an east-west direction and features an entrance hall that leads to a well-formed gallery measuring 125 meters in length, 10-12 meters in width, and boasting a ceiling height of 15 meters. This gallery represents the driest and widest part of the cave, exhibiting stalactites, stalagmites, columns, cover and parasol dripstones, and dripstone pools. The Inalti Cave was horizontally developed within the Malt-Alt Kereatse aged stubborn formation, which rests on the Dogger granite at its base, and forms a karst floor level. The mystical and enigmatic appearance of the Inalti Cave with its limestone formations never fails to astonish visitors. Inside, an excursion route awaits visitors, along with a coffee shop located outside the cave entrance that eagerly welcomes guests.
