İğneada Floodplain Forests National Park The İğneada Longoz Forests National Park, or İğneada Floodplain Forests National Park in English, is a protected area situated in Kırklareli Province of the Marmara Region in Turkey. It was established on November 13, 2007, and spans over 3,155 acres or 7,800 hectares. The park is located in the town of İğneada, situated on the Turkish-Bulgarian border. The forest is formed by streams originating from the slopes of the Strandja mountain range, which flow towards the Black Sea. The forest is located on the alluvial plain along the coast and is filled with seasonal floodplains due to its role as a floodplain.
