But when lovers eat sabuni and white ring cheese, their palates are delighted by its flavor." This quote provides information about the cultural heritage of Konya in terms of sweets and dishes.

In Konya cuisine, the history of Konya Haside Tatlısı / Konya Kara Helvası dates back to ancient times. Therefore, it is associated with geographical boundaries and reputation.

Production Method:

Ingredients (for 4 people): - 1 cup wheat flour - 1 cup grape molasses - 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Preparation, Cooking, and Serving: The flour is roasted with butter over low heat until it turns golden brown. In a separate bowl, molasses is heated to not exceed 50°C. The roasted flour is taken off the heat, and molasses is poured over it. To prevent clumping, the mixture is thoroughly stirred and returned to the heat. The stirring process continues until the flour absorbs the molasses. Konya Haside Tatlısı / Konya Kara Helvası is taken off the heat and allowed to rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
