Kirikkale Sharp Pan Description and Distinguishing Features of the Product: Pan cooking is a well-developed meat cooking tradition in Anatolia. It is often said that the flavor of meat cooked in a pan is exceptional. Therefore, many cities have their own unique pan dishes developed with their own methods. Kırıkkale Keskin Tava is a meat dish made by the local people for many years and is consumed with great pleasure. It is also one of the most preferred foods by both the local people and domestic and foreign tourists. Production Method: Ingredients used for Kırıkkale Keskin Tava: • 1 kg lamb chops • 4 tomatoes • 2 heads of garlic • 4 green peppers (preferably spicy) • 2 tablespoons of butter • 1 teaspoon of salt • 1 tablespoon of red pepper flakes Cooking Instructions: First, grease a baking tray. Then, slice the peppers and tomatoes and place them on the tray. Next, break the garlic into several pieces and add it to the tray. Especially the beef and lamb meat grown in the Kırıkkale region is evenly placed on top of the vegetables. Small pieces of butter are placed on top of the meat. Then, salt and red pepper flakes are sprinkled over the meat on the tray. Finally, the tray is completely covered with aluminum foil. It is baked in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 1 hour. In the last 10 minutes, the aluminum foil is opened, and it continues to bake in this way.
