The dish is served hot and optionally topped with garlic yogurt. Erzurum Turnip Stuffed Dish has a long history and holds a significant place in the culinary culture of Erzurum province. Therefore, it has a distinct connection with the geographical region. Production Method: Ingredients for 4-5 servings of Erzurum Turnip Stuffed Dish: For the filling: - 1 kg turnips - 500 g minced meat - 70 g rice - 1 medium-sized onion - 3 cloves of garlic - 3 g basil - 4.5 g black pepper - 6 g red pepper flakes - 16 g salt For the sauce: - 30 g butter - 18 g tomato paste Turnips are sliced in a circular shape with a thickness of 5 mm. They are boiled in water for 10 minutes and drained. Allow them to cool. For the filling, mix minced meat, rice, and other ingredients in a bowl. Take approximately 30-40 grams of the prepared mixture and shape it flat. Place it between two slices of turnip. Arrange the prepared stuffed turnips in a pot. In a pan, melt butter and add tomato paste to sauté. Pour the mixture over the stuffed turnips. Add water until it covers the stuffed turnips.
