St Paul’s Church (Bebekli Church)

The Bebekli Church is dedicated to St. Paul. Baptized Saul of Tarsus, St. Paul the Apostle was a major figure in Christian ideology. He was born in Tarsus which is very close to Adana and served for Christianity for many years to expand it. He has done 3 huge trips to almost everywhere to teach the religion. Despite having been executed by the Romans for his work to spread the Gospel among Jews and Gentiles alike, his lasting legacy can be found in Church symbols such as this church.

The church currently serves to the Catholic and Orthodox communities in Adana. The garden is converted into a parking lot to generate money for the church.
