Production Method:

Ingredients for Arapgir Deli Kız Baklavası (serving 6): - 10 sheets of griddle-cooked yufka bread - 300 g butter - 300 g grape molasses - 350 g crushed walnuts - 50 ml water Ingredients for Yufka Bread: - 300 g wheat flour - 400 ml water

Preparation of Yufka Bread: Wheat flour and water are kneaded in a deep bowl until a moderately stiff dough is obtained. The dough, divided into 10 pieces, is rolled out with a rolling pin to a thickness of 2-2.5 mm and then cooked on a griddle.

Preparation of the Dessert: Butter is melted in a bowl on the stove, and grape molasses and water are added to it.

A cooked yufka bread is placed in a tray, and a thin layer of the butter-grape molasses mixture is spread over it, followed by sprinkling crushed walnuts. This process continues until all the yufka layers are used. After the last layer is added, the butter-grape molasses mixture is spread, and optionally, crushed walnuts are sprinkled, letting it rest for 5 minutes. Arapgir Deli Kız Baklavası is served by slicing it into carrot-shaped pieces.
