Day 1

Istanbul to Gaziantep, Zeugma Museum & Historic City Center

Begin with an early private pick-up from your Istanbul hotel and transfer to Istanbul Airport. Fly to Gaziantep, where your professional guide and private driver will meet you at the airport exit with a sign bearing your name.

After a short drive, visit the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. The museum protects an exceptional collection of Roman mosaics, frescoes, fountains, sculptures and architectural pieces recovered from the ancient city of Zeugma beside the Euphrates.

Enjoy lunch at a respected local kebab restaurant before exploring Gaziantep’s historical streets, traditional copper market and a renowned baklava shop. The city is internationally celebrated for its rich culinary traditions, particularly its kebabs, pistachios and baklava.

Dinner is served at another carefully selected local restaurant. Afterwards, visit the historic Tahmis Coffee House and taste its distinctive pistachio coffee before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Gaziantep.

Day 2

Şanlıurfa Museums, Balıklıgöl, Historic Center & Harran

After breakfast, depart Gaziantep and drive approximately two hours to Şanlıurfa. Begin at the Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum, whose extensive collection presents the region’s history from the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods through later civilizations.

Highlights include the celebrated Urfa Man statue, original finds from prehistoric settlements, the relocated Nevali Çori sanctuary and detailed reconstructions that help place Göbeklitepe and the wider Taş Tepeler region into context. Continue to the adjoining Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum to see remarkable late Roman mosaics.

Enjoy lunch in a restored historical caravanserai before exploring Şanlıurfa’s old city. Visit Balıklıgöl – the Pool of Abraham, where local tradition tells how fire became water and burning wood became the sacred fish still living in the pool.

Continue through the atmospheric bazaar streets and courtyards of Şanlıurfa before driving approximately one hour to Harran. Explore the settlement’s distinctive adobe beehive houses, ancient walls, castle remains and ruins associated with its historic center of scholarship.

Day 3

Göbeklitepe, Karahantepe & Mount Nemrut Sunset

After breakfast, drive approximately 30 minutes to Göbeklitepe. Walk around the protected excavation area and examine its monumental T-shaped pillars, animal reliefs and ceremonial enclosures dating to the beginning of the Neolithic period.

Continue to Karahantepe, another remarkable Taş Tepeler site that shares Göbeklitepe’s prehistoric cultural world while presenting distinctive human imagery, carved heads and ritual spaces.

After lunch in Şanlıurfa, travel toward Adıyaman. Check in to your hotel and rest briefly before continuing to Mount Nemrut.

From the national park entrance, walk uphill for approximately 20 minutes to reach the royal sanctuary and monumental terraces of King Antiochus I. Explore the statues of gods, kings, lions and eagles while your guide explains the Kingdom of Commagene and its blend of eastern and western traditions.

Watch the sun set across the mountains before descending for dinner. Afterwards, return to your hotel in Adıyaman. Overnight in Adıyaman.

Day 4

Adıyaman to Istanbul by Air

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer privately to Adıyaman Airport for your domestic flight back to Istanbul.
