The tour begins at 09:30 with a pickup from your hotel. First, we'll drive to Ortahisar Panorama Point (Lavanta Panorama) to take in the stunning views of Ortahisar Castle. Our guide will provide you with information about the history and geography of the region.
Mustafapasa (Sinasos) & Keslik Monastery
Next, we visit Mustafapasa, a former Greek village with beautiful architecture, old Greek houses, an Ottoman madrasah, and a 19th-century church. Following this, we drive to Keslik Monastery, home to three distinct churches, including the Church of Archangels with its impressive paintings.
Sobessos Excavation Site
Afterwards, we'll head to the Sobessos Excavation Site. This is a unique location in Cappadocia where you can see a Roman bath, tombs, a temple, and beautifully preserved mosaics that have been uncovered from the Roman period.
Soganli Valley Hike & Boutique Lunch
Then it's off to Soganli Valley, one of the most peaceful and secluded valleys in Cappadocia. We will take a relaxing hike along one side of the valley, visiting some cave churches, and return along the other side. A delightful lunch will be served right in this beautiful valley.
Derinkuyu Underground City
In the afternoon, we'll tour the Derinkuyu Underground City, the deepest underground settlement in Cappadocia and a massive UNESCO site. You'll get to explore the intricate cave networks and learn about the daily way of life in this fascinating hidden city.
Return to Hotel
After our final visit deep underground, we will begin our drive back. The tour will comfortably conclude as we drop you off at your hotel around 4:30 - 5:00 PM.
