We begin with Kaymakli Underground City, one of the most remarkable subterranean settlements in Cappadocia. As you walk through its carved tunnels, rooms, storage areas, wineries and ventilation shafts, your guide will explain how ancient communities used these underground spaces for protection and daily life.
Ihlara Valley Walk
After Kaymakli, we continue to Ihlara Valley, one of the most scenic and peaceful places in the wider Cappadocia region. The valley follows the Melendiz Stream and is known for its dramatic canyon walls, green walking paths and rock-cut churches decorated with historic frescoes.
Riverside Lunch in Belisirma Village
Lunch will be served in Belisirma Village, a charming riverside stop inside the Ihlara Valley route. Instead of crowded open-buffet venues, we prefer a more relaxed local restaurant atmosphere where you can enjoy the sound of the stream and the calm nature of the canyon.
Salt Lake Sunset Experience
The final stop of the day is Salt Lake, one of Turkey’s most impressive natural landscapes. During sunset, the shallow waters and salt flats create a mirror-like surface that reflects the sky in warm tones of gold, orange and pink. This peaceful sunset stop is the perfect finale to a full day of history, nature and discovery.
Return to Cappadocia
After enjoying the sunset and taking your photos at Salt Lake, we drive back to Cappadocia and drop you off at your hotel. The total duration of the tour is approximately 8 to 9 hours, depending on sunset time and hotel location.
